Despite the wealth of manualized and empirically-supported interventions for various mental health conditions, a significant gap remains, with less than 40% of patients in the U.S. accessing evidence-based behavioral treatments. This disparity underscores the urgent need for innovative approaches to enhance the delivery of mental healthcare services. Facility-based behavioral health centers, guided by a commitment to providing inclusive, affordable, and comprehensive care to all individuals entering their doors, are uniquely positioned to address this challenge. This symposium convenes a panel of experts in implementing digital tools designed to deliver cognitive behavioral interventions within traditional treatment programs. Each presentation will describe the results of research studying the implementation of digital tools in brick-and-mortar healthcare programs and offer insights on how to integrate cutting-edge technologies in everyday healthcare settings. Presenters will review considerations for regulatory compliance, staff training, and client engagement. The discussant will review these research findings and illustrate the transformative potential of technology in optimizing evidence based care and improving treatment outcomes.
